    OK....first i agree that D 112 isn't the best for bass drum... but it's still a "PRO" quality bass mic....     The best Microphone for snare drum?

    Shur SM 57 PVM 325 AKG C451 first...i have to say...i was foolished by the AKG's guide book... they list AKG C451 as the top choices for snare....which is not... beacuse C451 is sensivity condensor mic, which always pick up high hat like crazy!!! Shur SM 57 is not bad, did not pick up too much...
