people are telling me that i need another A/D convertor to go from my avalon into my roland vs 1880. ROLAND tells me that as long as i have my mic gain down to line level, that it doesnt matter what input i go into, that it will sound like the avalon (no 1880 pre coloration or alteration)...

Ive got a home studio that i record myself and my band and other local Nashville bands in. I just got an Avalon 737 and I record to a VS-1880. I have a money spending dilema here... what to get next? Im thinking of either getting 1) pair of KM184s for drum overheads/acoustic...
