Is this thing good for anything? I mean besides a door stop?
I hate to not use it.. It has to be good for something.. A coaster?
I have a buddy that is just getting into recording so he doesn't really need anything special.
I was wondering.. His computer has the AC'97 stock onboard audio..
I have a Soundblaster Live sitting around that I could throw in there if I thought it would make a difference.
What do you think...
I have searched and read and searched and read and search and read and search and read... I still can't come to a conclusion..
I am looking for a stand alone piece of software that I can take individual drum samples and make my own loops or complete songs..
Control over individual drum...
Now this guy has some equipment! Check out this pro's list and his clientele. Now if BB King & Judas Priest hired an engineer with all Behringer equipment then it must be pro quality!
How will us amateurs ever keep up? Now this being said I do own a Behringer product.. I have the...
On the back of my compressor there is a button on each channel that says.. +10 or -4.
Now I have it routed to the inserts on my mixer so what db should I be using?

The Pre Amp has a midi in/out. BUT my soundcard does not have a midi connection and it does'nt have a game port either...

When you compress the bass what are you looking for?
I don't play or record anything like Les Claypool or Flea so...
Do you think on a George Strait album they compress the bass?
I would like a bit more thump and less mush..
Do you get this with the playing style and tone on the bass or can...
I bought a new dual channel mic pre and a dual channel compressor/gate (not a 3630)
Which comes first in the chain?

Anyway,,,, what is that Pre or post?
I would...
