Or just some seperate tracks to give us home recordists something new to work on?
Anyone got anything recorded on seperate tracks they could post up for FTP?
anyone tried them for this aplication?
I live in the UK and the set of shure mics (2x PG81, 3x PG56, 1x PG52) bought from the USA with postage is 3 times cheaper than buying them in the UK.
As a drum package they look ok but has anyong used the mics on other recording applications/situations...
so it took me all day yesterday to bolt it all into the box, tricky part being the Zlaman ultraquiet CPU cooler but I got there in the end. Those things are hard to fit with one set of hands.
I turned on the power and my heart sank....a green light came on but nothing.....HA! as in no noise! I...
how do I get into it? it's always been the DEL key on my AMD sytems (gigabyte boards) Does this info come in the mobo manual?
cross post I know but thought the big one might get burried from age.
it's an Asus P4P800 Deluxe board
I've been running an AMD 1800XP on a Gigabyte GV7XE+ with 512Meg PC2100 and 2x 40Gig ATA133/7200 hard drives on a dual boot system. Win98 for everything else and WinXPpro for the music (I'm a cool edit pro & Cubase SX user). I've decided it's time to build a dedicated DAW. In red are the parts I...

I love to hear a cover version that's a bit off the beaten track from the original and this one for me...
An old song from about 12 years ago that I rerecorded. It's slightly punky/new wave/rock.

Just bought the unit on ebay. Looks pretty straight forward to operate, but everyone likes a good manual to take the toilet.
Anybody got one?
Cheers,
Alec.
Just bought a microverbIII and a midiverbII from ebay....no power supplies......can I use any regular 9V wall wart for these? Anyone using either unit able to tell me the Va output or the Mw output would be a great help thanks
Alec
New groovin rock zeplinesque tune
No vocals on this yet just testing out my new Octava MK-012s as overheads. Not sure if maybe I squashed the life out of them but just trying to get a better kit sound. Guitars are nasty.
How's my kit sounding? That's all I wanna know really.
Thanks,
Alec...
I have a Delta 1010 soundcard and the breakout box runs on a 240v/9vAC power supply. I'm in the UK
If I ordered another one from america (they retail at twice the price here) would it just be a matter of ordering a new 240/9v supply from M-Audio?
Anyone used one of these? I'm looking to spend as little cash as possible and I'm just wondering as this seems to be in the same price range (second hand) if it is as bad as the Behringer gear.
I'll be using it to tame vocals and bass on the way in. Any thoughts?
Alec.
I said I would post up the first recording I done once I added the Delta 410 to my 1010 system so here it is

Well a few of you might have noticed I've been asking a lot of questions about the Delta 410 recently. I eventualy bought one to put in my system beside my Delta 1010 to give me 10in/16out.
There were a few questions about unbalances signals, cables, line hum, syncing issues, S/PDIF...
Reading another post there I seen 16 bit drums in a 24 bit mix. Is this possible? The sample rates have to be the same but the bitrate can be different?
I'm in the same boat. All my drums are 16 bit samples sequenced in fruity loops and exported as single tracks in .wav format. I've always...
I know it's gotta be 75ohm digital coaxial cable. I've got some that came with a digital camera. The thing is it's about 5 meters long. Would that be too long for a twin Delta soundcard link?
I priced some yesterday and for a 1 meter run it was the same price as an 8 way XLR to balanced Jack 3M...
