Before I do a cubase mixdown my levels are up and the way I would like them. After the mixdown they are low! Not extremly low but low. I'm tracking @ 44k sample rate. I mixdown @ 44k as well in 24 bit. Should I record in 96k and mixdown @ 96k? I'm sure someone has an answer. Thanks...

Does anyone do outboard mastering? That is leaving the computer going through outboard devices then returning back to the computer. How what type outboard devices do you use? thanks, garrett
