this thing is cool, it's pre-midi. the poly-61M has midi. It has tape outs and ins for storing programs.
I wonder if I can use digital recording for that and feed it wave files, why not right?
I'm thinking sanding would keep it even, but it might be hard to figure how much I'm taking off, maybe I could cut some? or use a plane and then sand it? I only need a small amount to lower the action.

I was impressed how little leakage I got using this 3 mic simultaneous record of vox and acoustic guitar.
also had it set up infront of a book shelf, w/ acoustic tiles on right side and somewhat overhead.
The first one also had noisy gain pots but also a busted meter.
I don't imagine I'd be using them during recording, but I might, I guess.
It's now 2 weeks since the original order, with all the shipping.

I was just treated nicely on the phone w/ the fine folks from MXL.
Got the transfer, the hold and the disconnect.
Anyone have a better number I can call?
I have a couple of 991 under a year and one just got really noisy on me.
But I still love them and will continue to buy their fine...
