One thing i really like in Reaper is the automatic cross fade available to drag and shape as soon as you cut/slice and then drag over another piece of the sample wave form, that rocks, makes edits EASY. :D
discuss...
they're selling 4 now, but i'm interested in the ts9 v. the ts808.
besides $60 more, wonder how much the tone differs and if either is worth it or do i go looking for a vintage?
i have one that's 5 oz. and silver green
i have another that's 3 oz. and silver gray
i WAS about to pair them up x/y when i felt that one was warm and one was cold. Is one plastic and one metal?
a light tap on the shaft while unplugged also appears to sound a 5th or an octave apart...
guerilla marketing is basically what we have to do, and do it on our own.
paying someone is not going to be a good deal in the indy case or self promo musicians
so let's see if we have ideas that are too small for the majors, or large indies and more than what might happen without any plan...
I like it, sounds good, but need to edit drum loop waves faster and easier.
don't like the warp markers in Ableton, screws up the sound but extremely fast and easy.
any freeware or under $200 software?
FL Studio demo slices loop, but i don't want to turn it into hit samples, just 1 to 16 bar...
so i never even noticed this until i combined it with a quieter mix.
It has a wobbley clang drone that is Eb and it messes with other stuff, like a keyboard sound, nasty intervals and stuff.
if i edit the wave sample, it only gets worse, messing with the wobble and changing the oscillations.
just wondering, they're the same price and both are balanced, wait, maybe it's just switch location?
and the connectors on front seem plastic and b&w instead of metal?
so i'm thinking of getting another set to switch to for a second opinion.
all i have is my old stereo for checking, and a pair of very nice BX5 no sub, so should i get a new pair w/ a sub, or some 10" or 8" and what's good for bass reproduction down to the low lows? :D :D
it's been a while...
that's a feature i want
what has good reverb?
what has good compression that i can use on all tracks simultaneously and same with eq?
what can also group a bunch of tracks into one fader for me after i've mixed my drums together from 8 tracks into a stereo setup?
i'm finally starting to know...
and who would get the most stock? of an new namm item that's in demand, for example?
mf, zzsounds, sweetwater, others?
anyone know how this biz works?
i was listening to cd 101.9 in NY which is smooth jazz, it's not on a button, i was just scanning, and i heard this bass that sounded like the bass sound from Amy Grant, Baby Baby? or maybe even more growly.
i thought it was a synth, which it might be on Baby, but this sounded more like a bass...
