Does anyone oil the fretboard of their guitars by themselves? If so, any tips on how and with what or do you take it to a local shop and let someone experienced do it? And how often do you suggest doing it? Do wood types matter? I have an ebony fretboard according to the Jacksonguitars website...
Some guy told me this in another forum
"When you plug just the left in, the signal is summed to mono. When you plug both in you get left and right signals.
You may want to split the signal comming from the TD3 Left.
If your mixer has an insert send, you could use that.
You can tweak your kits...
I'm am using the L output of my TD-3 in to my BR Studio to record.
If I was to buy a PM-10 monitor to hear myself record better and have some play along using the R output from the TD-3 to the PM-10, would it change the signal going into the board?
Thanks in advance for your help.
P.S. Same...
Will a decent pre-amp SIGNIFICANTLY improve the sound of the vocals if a crappy mic is used? Should a good mic be purchased first? For those who have bought a pre-amp to use with their BR studio how great was difference and what did you buy?
Is possible to control STD1 drum set in a BR studio using my TD-3 drums. I want to cut a live track that way?. Not having to key in anything bar by bar and having it inserted in the drum loop track as one big saved pattern. Is is possible and if so how do I set up to start off?

This is a children's CD but it was recorded using a BR1180. Not bad at all for a home job and a good reference for those who are wondering how good of a quality can be achieved using BR studio.

What a difficulty it is choosing a mic patch that makes the vocal sound and tone fit the rest of the song. Now that I have the rest of the instruments to mesh down pat as good and in unison as I believe it's going to get with my resources, I can't get the vocal track to sound as if it's part of...

Troubleshoot inthe manual refers me to pg.51 of the GR33 manual but I don't understand anything as usual cuz I just got it and frustrated...Help me if you have one...
1.Is there a way to record a live drum track with external drums and have it sent to the stereo rythm/loop? So I don't use two tracks right off the bat.
2.Do I have to use midi to do this?
3.If yes----------how...step by step
On a BR1180
Does anyone have any experience connecting these units? I just got my synth yesterday, I don't have my pickup yet it had to be ordered. What I want is to plug in my regular guitar in the GT8 or vice versa without unplugging and switching between pedals too much. Or am I stuck using them...
This has been discussed numerous times I'm sure but I couldn't find the answer to exactly what I"m looking for. I understand the difference between the two but here's my confusion point, according to the BR1180 Quick Guide book it says that from the guitar to the pedal to use a TS cable, from...
Is it better to use the normalize function to an individual track or use it on the mastertrack once everything is bounced before the mastering process?
Am I suppose to just leave it alone?
Is the GR-33 really that much better than the GR-20, I played the GR-33 yesterday and it had to be one of the most satisfying things I've played since I was fourteen and I plugged into my first Marshall stack cranked on full. I was planning on buying the GR-20 but my local music store offered me...
How much will a sample rate of 96kHz vs. 44.1kHz be in a creating a difference in the quality of sound from one board to another that is less or greater? Or is it something completely different?
Thanks to anyone with input.
