Does my audio still have room echo?

You are discovering how sound works. Youve also discovered that your room impacts sound twice. Once when you record then again when you press play. You discovered that source to mic distance is a vital part of recording, but you may have also discovered it also changes the tone of your voice...

    which frequency analyzer to use?

We have no idea what you are talking about, and that image makes it even worse. Being honest here. Your other topic rang alarm bells because of the way you asked questions, but we tried to help. Youve now posted something about EQ, but we have no idea how to respond. Please have a think about...

Guess what happened to me in December? UFO's Drones..just hear me pics video

My family have always had Police Officers in it. My father-in-law, my uncle, and my son - sort of family business. My uncle was in his 80's and died last year. He had ben retired a while and towards his later days he told me he had been involved in the UK's most well known incident with a UFO -...

Contracts, even if done totally amateurishly can be useful if they contain details. I often use emails that contain questions rather than a formal contract with certain friends and even clients. Their answers and then perhaps your next emails can make it clear the intent, and then I think Judge...

I think that is very pertinent. There is a knock on advantage to the punters though? More bands are touring than ever before because that generates real money if done right. Lots of bands saw touring as losing them money, so stopped. Now we stream at tiny amounts per stream, a few arenas can put...

Does my audio still have room echo?

If you make the room very dead, it gets oppressive to work in. To put this into context. My video studio was very live, but with the mic in close, it didn't really matter. Then one day a job came in the needed a blue screen on 3 of the 4 walls. Part 2 involved some people who were wearing blue...

Does my audio still have room echo?

That doesn't matter. We cannot hear anything annoying - so no reverb or echo that jumps out. It just sounds 'real'. If you record outside, with no wind, and no noises that would be the most realistic 'no reverb'. The worst 'no reverb' is when people slap thick acoustic tiles everywhere and it...

Does my audio still have room echo?

11" is a very big fist. No echo (remember echo is where reflections give you a distinct, separate return - like HELLO, hello or ECHO, echo. Reverberation is when the other reflections all blur together and make it sound like a bigger space. Your recording is quite dry.

Yes - of course, but when your track they played on suddenly gets featured and goes crazy, those people will stick in a claim for their services, and without you being able to dispute it, they'll get it. The old story about bass player Herbie Flowers and walk on the wild side is a good example...

ARC 4 - Advanced room correction plug-in and measurement microphone.

My smaller studio has a very odd peak around 650Hz - I know it is there and work with it. EQ'ing it out makes the room very strange!

    About buying Mixcraft:

Well, I found loads of links to old versions, but if you don't actually have it, why would you want to buy a version that has had bug fixes and improvements done to it? Makes no sense at all. As soon as you install it, you'll no doubt be bombarded with "do you want to upgrade" boxes. So the...

ARC 4 - Advanced room correction plug-in and measurement microphone.

Remember to repeat the test with the measurement mic moved just a little because in 'random' smaller rooms the results vary crazily.

You see now you are revealing the hidden costs. When you slap material up nowadays you are always asked for the splits, and you can also add in 'featured artists' - 50/50 works well, but the payments vary in how they are presented. If you get money, from say Songtradr (to use mine as an example)...

Trainwreck of a music video on youtube

I'm not posting this to take the mick out of the players, but because the two players did not know what to do. Clearly, either the sax player or the guy on keys got it wrong. I suppose the sax player could have had the music he was playing in the wrong key - but it strikes me that he was...

Why are you over complicating this. Until you make lots of money, it makes no sense at all, because you will never be able to reconcile your earnings. Essentially, you get an email. You log in and see money in your account. This is your component. They make it impossible to see any kind of gross...

What did you produce in the Lockdown years?

The sending to yourself, and not opening it was just an evidential system to prove your version existed before somebody elses. Nowadays, with platforms like youtube spotting copyright problems in seconds, it's vital to do it properly, so your music is tagged in the international system. It works...

Help Recording DI Distorted Guitar Tones

Getting the guitar into a preamp and/or DI is so much simpler than taking a line out and making that behave like a guitar.

What did you produce in the Lockdown years?

Well - nowadays, the publishing bit means finding an aggregator or distributor - like distrokid, sontradr, ditto or dozens of others. You give them the music and it appears on all the platforms. Takes about three weeks then anyone in the world can stream or buy it. Copyright is yours from the...

What did you produce in the Lockdown years?

I didn't stop doing choir stuff either - how about this covid Vivaldi - with a string quartet and organ. Everything shot by themselves on their phones at home.
