Need a little help here please... Roland 840EX is hooked up to the PC through a USB cable... after recording the first track...all seems ok... when going to record the second track...the first track is silent... cannot be heard through headphones...(the headphones are through the soundcard...)...

Just bought a Rode NT1.....closeout special at GC.... $189.00....came with a shockmount and case... Gonna use it at home for acoustic guitar.... I bought a set of KRK V4 powered monitors too so the salesman threw in a Pop Filter for the mic..... Did I get a deal or not??
