I notice that when I mix down a song with a lot of midi it take a lot longer than mixing down audio projects. I always thought audio were bigger files overall. I believe they take more space on C drive. Maybe Large files taking up C drive space has nothing to do with speed of mixdown?

I think I've seen this thread before but can't find. When I do a playback in Sonar 5 I sometimes get hestiation of sound. The time bar is still in motion but a second of silence will occur. More annoying is when this happens while recording. Any ideas. Thanks :confused:

Is buying a mic on ebay a good idea. Being somewhat fragile they can be beaten up by some. I find prices are about 25% cheaper than going to zzsounds or other sites. But gun shy to make a purchase there. Anybody ever have a bad buy? Thanks

I have small studio in bedroom. Sonar 5, tascam 1082. Roland v drum kit and keys. Its now humid in Jersey. Should I keep room always air conditioned and dry. Can humid air actually hurt equipment. Any thoughts on this? thanks
