lol as many of you know i'm a noob at this stuff. But i have a chance for a huge steal on these M-Audio bx5a's. I'm wondering, if i want to just start out, should i be greedy and buy them? or save up for when i'm more advanced

As much as I love recording my music, they greatly suffer from lack of eq'ing. I almost know nothing about eq'ing. I have looked up many articles on how to eq but none have seemed to help. So if anybody knows a place where it can teach me step by step how to eq I would GREATLY appreciate it

I've looked it up and can't find a legit definition. I am COMPLETELY confused. At the moment, im using a program that makes electronic drums(Acoustica Beatcraft) If i get a drum sample, does that mean i can replace the original sound and add the new one?? I'm completely confused
