hi magician...i have the fostex fd-8..and if ya want my two cents on all this...not that i know a whole lot...but i know what i like...and the fd-8 is affordable..and pretty easy to learn how to use...i would most definitley recomend getting the 250 mb zip drive..im sure the other guys here will...

hey...this is probably a dumb question..but i have a fostex FD-8...and when im just recording my own rehersals..i put the guitars on track one..and pan the stereo bus to the left...the drum machine on track two and pan to the right...and vocals on track three and pan to the left..when i listen...
