Should I use an expensive microphone or a cheap one?

Beware old guitar stands with rubber coated neck and body holders. After a few years the rubber deteriorates and it will react with the finish of your guitar. You will be very unhappy with the results. I've removed all the rubber from mine and re-wrapped them with soft cotton.
