The Epi USA Sheraton and Sheraton II are going for $999 at MF. This sounds like an excellent deal for a made in USA Epiphone. Do they make them at a Gibson plant? Has anyone played or know anything about these models?

I have a 21 year old Guild D-37. It's my primary songwriting and workhorse guitar but over the few years the tone has slowly been getting deader and flatter. Alot of the highs are going.
Other than new strings what can I do to improve the tone? Over the years the strings have worn into saddle...
It's called "Spy Ear". An electret mic and amp powered by two tiny disc batteries(they even throw in a spare set) in a tiny plastic case about the size of a matchbox. Comes with headphones, too. Kind of like a hearing aid. Could have some fun applications in a studio. Pretty cool. For 99 cents!
Anyone here from SO-CAL? Then you know the "99 Cents Only" store. They have these plastic, hand held, ball mics for 99 cents. I bought a couple, and yes, they're rather thin and tinny. They're no Neumann's. Anyone else check them out?
Anyone every buy from this guy?

A week and a half ago I saw...
Does anyone understand the songs of Michael McDonald? He's like all over the place with his contrived melodies, lyrics, chord progessions and arrangements. I just don't get it. Am I missing something?
...so I went into GC today an there was this Eric Clapton stomp box with like ten presets...each one set to match the tone of his guitar as played in his greatest hits through Cream, Blind Faith, Traffic and recent solo efforts. $149.00...There was an actual picture of EC on the cardboard box...
I once heard this. I think some marketing guy at a record label came up with that one some time in the 1990's to boost a softening market for classical music. Then along came "The Eroica Trio". Since then it's been pretty much a free for all in classical marketing gimmicks.
I'm bringing this...
