Sounds pretty nice flyguy. Green Day was mentioned and if you want to ramp up for the chorus maybe some super sized drum rolls would help lift up the intensity there. Wouldn’t mind if the higher double vocal was a smidge louder, and the lower doubled ones also. Just thoughts. Guy

I finally had a listen LL. I agree this is a very good song. Just 2 tiny little nits, I think the vocal could be a touch louder and the snare is just a bit light sounding to me. I didn’t mind the compressed feel at all. Really nice work.

Yah that was fun. Not too long for me. Could possibly let a little bit of the lower end in it seem a little lacking there. A So agree with DM about the vocals could be up just a tad Guy

The song is a little plaintive or even angry lyrically as you take us through the different scenarios throughout. You could get away with a pretty edgy solo to further emphasize what you’re saying. Doesn’t need to be a lot of notes Uh just suggestions though.

Guitar pickups are using a magnetic field to eventually turn the string vibration to the sound we hear. How can vibrating wood be picked up by a guitar pickup? If the vibrating wood effects the vibrating string then ya it’s a factor

Thanks famous. Yah I’ve been working on those guitar tracks and think it’s a lot better now. Wasn’t gonna bother everyone with a repost but I think I will. I think I have a lot more open full sound with this approach.

I’m lucky that I’m fairly new to all of this ( started in 2019 ) and still fascinated with the whole process. Good advice though to step back if and when it gets a little stale instead of just giving up.

I thing Porterhouse nailed it What comes from inside ourselves naturally is what we like or gravitate towards. So therefore the music we create we can’t help but like or even love. I am drawn toward the songs that I have been involved in creating because of that

I think in a way we are lucky that music is not our primary source of income and we are able to keep it fun because of that. After all why do it if it’s not fun

Ya surprisingly better sounding than I was expecting. No real easy way to balance levels like the snare but I’m only looking for a recording that can help show weaknesses and flaws so we can work on those areas. Unfortunately with us there will be a lot to do lol.
