Multitrack tape recorders are not that common. I restored quite a few of them before for recording studios. Haven't heard back in a few years from the customers. Maybe they are working great, or they never got used ;)

Yes I could have used better 8 Pin sockets for the op amps. For the ANT4066B Upgrade I did install a gold plated 14 pin socket

I'm stuck in the past with cassette decks for recording music. 8-) A good metal tape on a direct drive cassette deck with Dolby S is a charm to listen I know the technology has gotten much better since cassette. What are you guys using to record your music and store it?

I tune them on the recording side to hit 22 kHz +/- 3 dB
