    To much bass guitar on certain notes

    I got a good mix going, but my F and A note on the bass are a little loud, can I use a parametric eq and get those two notes a little more in check.

    Monitors make that big of a difference

    I have been home recording for about 8 months now. I use mixcraft 6 pro studio. I now use computer speakers when mixing, then check the mix with my stereo and also play it in my truck.     First time recording our band, the first day....how Im going to do it. Your thoughts?

    We have a ZED 14 mixer with 5 mics going to it from the drums, into a HP with mixcraft 6, via usb. Our drummer wants the guitar to play along with him to help with where he is at in the song. Im going to run the guitar into the board, and send the signal of guitar to our drummer, via headphones...

    Surround stereo to mix

    I have a surround sound stereo, I love the way the speakers sound. I paid over 800 dollars for it. Can I use this to mix my recordings without going out and buying a set of monitors?

    New to recording on computer, whats a good audio interface for between $40-$70.

    I have a HP Envy dv6 notebook, windows 8, 64-bit, I5 processor with Mixcraft 6 installed. This computer is soley for recording. I don't have a lot of cash to spend on an audio interface. What is a good interface for between 40 and 70 dollars. Thanks
