ok, i have an old pearl world series snare, it could use a change of heads, but it sounds perfect now except for the noise it makes....
after every hit, it sounds like an echoing bee on helium and acid...
i dont think its the snares, ive can see that they arent touching each other at all, and...
hey i have never used a mixer before. I recently decided to take a turn away from my mixerless set up. anyways heres the question...
could i just plug an analog mixer straight into my soundcard of my computer? or do i need a digital mixer or analog to digital converter?

mmmkay, my friends and i are going for an acoustic style setup for a little bit. Djembe for drums, acoustic guitar, no mic for vocals, but we dont want to spend a gazillion on an acoustic bass...
could i get a cheap acoustic guitar and replace the stings with bass strings? would they even fit...
would it make any sense at all to record guitar, bass, drums, vocals, all with dynamic mics? im on a incredibly tight budget...
The mics im lookin at are shit, but do i need condensers?
(i know vocals are good with dynamics tho)

there are some incredibly cheap, 3 for 25$ nady mic...
i konw theyd be shitty...
but what makes a mic shitty.
