Is there a manual for cubasis VST?

I bought an EMU 0404 sound card and in came with cubasis VST. There is a "tutorial Song" on there that starts at the parameters, but skips right over the actual process of recording. I can't find anything else on the software that gets me started recording.

    Here is a P1 1 watt amp I built.

I bought all the parts and put it together from the info I got at ax84.com. All the parts are good, about $130 worth plus the cabinet I built, it's all baltic birch and dovetailed. It uses 1 12ax7 and 1 EL34. I would be willing to trade for a couple "good" crash cymbals.

I should be getting my Marshall 18 watt back soon.

Well Clone. I sent it away to be fixed, and the guy is just great. He's modding it out for me, getting rid of the tremelo channel (useless to me) and giving it a high gain channel. I will be able to use the old trem footswitch to switch back and forth between channels---sa weeeeet. I just...

    Have cymbals you don't want?

Do you ever throw them away if you don't like them? If you do, can you send them my way. All I have is a 20" crash/ ride. It's worth a try. :D

How do you record your drums into your soundcard?

If you use a soundcard. I have an EMU 0404 and right now I have a 2 channel mixer. My question is if the sound card has only two inputs a left and right how do you go about hooking up a mixer with enough channels to record drums?

Multi channel mixer used with a soundcard?

I have an EMU 0404 soundcard, and right now I am using a 2 channel mixer, one channel at a time. If there is only 1 left and 1 right imput to the soundcard, how does a multi channel mixer (recording drums) hook up to the soundcard?

    Used cymbals off ebay?

It seems like a good way to get a better quality cymbal at a cheaper price. I mean my set was only $250.used (pearl forum). I really don't know all the different options, and I live in the middle of nowhere so being able to test out different heads and cymbals is nill. and the 2 local music...

Floyd Rose hard to push down.

It only has two springs in it ala EVH, but it is stiff! It won't even go down to the body. It's a regular not a recessed. I'm gonna block it with a small piece of wood so it only goes down not up. don't the trems usually go to the body fairly easy?

    lighter guage strings= lighter touch?

I have gotten use to a blues tone combined with 10-52 guage strings, so I really grab the chords hard. (I believe that to be one thing that gives a person his unique sound) Now I want to get more slippery and try to get some speed, and I have 9-42's (floyd rose). And for the sound I want there...

    Just got my 84 kramer.

I traded a fender tex mex for it and it arrived today. I am happy with the trade as I wanted to get away from SRV and get a little trem bar happy (floyd rose). The neck back contour is fatter than I expected which is a pleasant surprize. like a baseball bat, I was expecting a thin one. Can I...

I am having trouble getting comfortable with cheap ass set.

I mean I don't want to take the world by storm here (would be nice though), I just want to record this set through 1 mic into a little two channel mixer and into an EMU 0404 sound card that has cubasis vst. I know it will sound not that good, but it's all I got right now, and it'll let me keep...

    Some general druming questions.

    1. At what height do YOU place YOUR snare? and does it have a tilt to it? 2. How far do you choke up on the drumsticks? and is your pinky off or on the stick when you play? 3. Are your thighs parallel to the floor at your throne height? I made a little video on my camera, I could post it if...

Can I put a Floyd Rose on a childs strat?

It's really unfair if it was impossible. I think I could drill the new holes for the fulcrum points with a drill press and just put the floyd locking nut on the other side of the nut that is there. It would be a liscensed floyd of course. My 4 year old want's me to do it. :D

How can Drummer's dislike Neil Peart?

My brother is a drummer, and use to be up to par, he hasn't played so much lately, but he dislikes Rush. I have heard other drummers say they dislike Rush also. Isn't that like a racecar driver disliking Nascar?

    Tricks for tuning drums?

I eventually will get some decent heads, but right now I'm working with Pearl heads. I tried tuning the non-beat sides higher than the beat sides, it sounds better, but almost too high.

Budget studio, No Money Wife's in School.

I stay at home, with the kids and I make 0 dollars right now. I have a computer with an EMU 0404 sound card.& a 2 channel mixer. Fender and a V-amp, sometimes a 18 watt marshall clone. The drums I'll be mic-ing with a single mic ( like I said NO MONEY) So, what I have done is tore apart and...
