    M300?

Is there a logical reason Lexicon and TC Electronic both have signal processors called M300? Seems like one of them could have came up with something a little different. Lexicon M300- http://www.lexiconpro.com/300/ tc electronic M300- http://www.tcelectronic.com/Default.asp?Id=773

    Sonorus Studi/0

I have a Tascam tm-d1000 with the expansion card that gives me 16 channels of TDIF-1 Digital I/O, which is 2 TDIF cables. I also have 2 IF-TAD, TDIF to lightpipe converters. My soundcard is an ADAT Edit PCI card, which is 8 channels lightpipe i/o, which I sync an ADAT blackface to. I would like...

Will removing the bottom heads on my toms for a couple of weeks warp them? It's a 5 piece Pacific LX if it matters.

    Velocity

How hard is everyone hitting their drums? I've always beat the hell out of 'em, but I just watched that Rolling Stones concert on HBO, and Charlie was carresing 'em, and it sounded GOOD! I know- it's in the wrist, the snap, the soundman, all that, I was just curious what everyone else thought.

    stereo mix?

I'm recording from a cd, into logic to edit some old demo's. The cd player is going into tracks 7 & 8 of an outboard mixer. My question is, do I pan track 7 hard left and track 8 hard right before it goes to Logic, or leave them centered until they come back to the mixer for playback?
