What firmware has the unit got? I'm reading that you can find out in the Cuemix app under Devices>Setup. Pretty sure that would have to be checked on Windows or MacOS but if it's older than V1.08 you can update, which may solve the problem. The IIc firmware update for MacOS can be downloaded...

You can't really say "generation considerations aside. They were making 3.8ghz pentium processors in the year 2000. I don't think there is a 6th gen 2.6ghz i5 chip. It would be better to tell us the full model numbers of both cpus.
