Update not that anyone cares lol: I returned the 80ohms too for ALG Pro Audio K240s instead. The DT 770s were not good for mixing voice over, they sounded really thin and lacking in bass so I was overcompensating in the mix. Hope the K240s work better for my purposes and are as comfy as the DT...

So in the last few weeks I've received some advice about moving my recording space out of my tiny closet into a slightly larger closet, opening it up, and upgrading from a Shure SM58 to an EV RE20 for voiceover work. Here are the fruits of my labor. I don't have my old Shure SM58 intro unedited...

I guess I ordered the 80 ohm and not 32...and amazon sent me some used headphones instead of new ones like I ordered... this is the second time this has happened this month that I swear I bought something new and the sent me something used... ANYWAYS they are a lot louder than the 250 ohms. :)...

Hmm I have it plugged into the Focusrite Scarlett Solo plugged into my laptop and using Adobe Audition. I'll be honest I know what all the knobs do on the interface but none of the buttons 8-)
