    Nothing Remains

Vocals sound very nice. I'd nudge them up a db or so. Drums, to me, have too much reverb. And the snare is a little slappy. The ride is a little loud. The keyboard on the right sounds awesome. Maybe a db or so loud. The acoustic on the left is a db or so quiet. The balance of the mix...

    Manslick - Come Home

    Very pretty. I liked it.

    Bye Bye Love (The Cars)

I love the Cars. And Elliot Easton is a terrific (under-rated) player. Guitars are a little low in the mix. Doubled vox would sound nice. You nailed the keyboard stuff.

Where Have All The Cowboys Gone...

Rhythm guitars are huge and sound great. Lead guitar tone is nice too. Maybe nudge the guitar licks up a db or so. Bass is OK. Drums are OK. Kick has a bunch of low end and kind of has that bouncy-ball sound. Hats are kind of high in the mix. I think doubled vocals would sound great. At...

NightError … new original tune (rock, alternative, soft punk?!)

I thought the guitars sounded good. So did the vocals. No real issues on the tone of everything. The mix is a bit narrow. Everything in the center is stronger than things on the edges. The intro is a bit long. But in general I thought it was real good.

Idea don't know if it's good or needs to be tossed

I thought it sounded good. I wouldn't throw it out.

    Down On My Luck

I'm battling Covid, so my ear's are suspect. But it sounds great to me. Guitars have a nice rich sound. Great reverb on everything. Nice low end. Maybe turn up the backing vocals just a small bit. I think the thing at 2:17 is just the lead singer taking a quick breath.

    The Parting Glass

First a quick comparison between the two mixes. Second mix is a fairly big improvement. Vox in the first mix, as mentioned, are quite wooly. Real piano in the second mix sounds nice. On the second mix... The vocals are a little brassy in spots. Just a bit harsh on certain words. Maybe a...

    Final with Video.....

I couldn't listen. The track is private.

    Round two Burning me Up

Overall I thought this was OK. The vocal might be just a bit out in front. The tone is a bit hot in the high-midrange. Like mid-2Ks. Lot's of effects, but I think it suits the genre.

    Aliens

The vocals can be tough to make out in spots. Pitchy in spots. Guitars and synths sound good. When the song kicks in just after the one-minute mark, I wanted something that hit me in the face a little more. The song kind of builds up to a big kick in, and then it's just a little kick in...

    Solaris song/mix/Video thoughts

Sounds OK to me. It's a little tough to comment without vocals. But without vocals, it sounds good. The bass is just a bit sterile and forward in the mix. But just a bit.

    Stained

Sounds pretty good to me. Good tone on everything. Seems like maybe a little buildup in the the 500hz range or so. Nothing bad, but it just seems like everything is fighting in that area.

    77 Minutes in Uvalde

That is a real good thing to check. Also, how reflective is your room? Could reflections be dampened in any way?

    77 Minutes in Uvalde

No it's still there. I wonder what your vocal setup is. There is just this weird delay thing going on. Almost slap-back. But not quite. Maybe change your room? Put the mic in a different spot? Maybe some room treatment?

    77 Minutes in Uvalde

Vocal performance is really good. Love the doubled guitar parts. I'm still hearing that "singing through an empty paper towel roll." Maybe post a version of the song with no vocal processing? Is that what the recording sounds like? Is it coming from the room? It sure sounds to me like a...

    Critique my mix!

Just a quick listen on ear buds... Nothing jumps out to me as bad. The only thing I noticed was that the lead vocal had some sibalance and hissiness on words here and there. But not super bad.

    The Triumphant Son

I was trying to say that it was clear that the instruments were MIDI. With some MIDI it's tough to tell. Man I wasn't wording things very well last night.

    Break Up

I didn't word that very well. The issue is definitely in the vocal. The "maybe" part referred to distortion. It's some artifact, maybe it's distortion, maybe it's something else. But it's on the vocal.

    Break Up

Great fidelity on the acoustic guitar. It's got a low end rumble that I'd roll off. Nice singer. Good tone. There is some distortion (maybe) in the vocal on a few words here and there. Lot's of high-end hype. Liked the doubling. Synths sound real nice. Drums work well for the song.
