    Unfortunate Repose

Things sound good. Guitars sound great. Bass sounds great - maybe just a db or so too loud? Drums sound OK. Cymbals are a little sizzly in the high end. Vocal sounds clear. Takes a long time for the song to get to much of the vocal. Then again, there aren't too many. The chorus/harmony...

    champagne

This sounds really good all around. Vocal is very clear and pleasant sounding. It might just be a bit too far back in the mix. Just a small bit. Sax and guitars sound great. Bass might just a bit boomy. Again just a bit. Drums sound great. Say hi to Tjarko and Lt. for me.

    The Thaw

I liked the music. I thought the whole song was nice. It starts a little abruptly. The doubled acoustic guitars are very thin and right in the same frequency range as the vocal. The vocal needs to win. I'd try to retrack the guitars and try to get a guitar sound that's more prominent in the...

My 13 yo daughter wrote an original tune “Reaching for the Moon” - check it out yo

At 13 this is incredibly good. Good song and good production.

Manslick - There was a dude

I don't know if the vocal is too loud. The keyboard part is occupying a lot of its frequency range and it's competing with it. And I don't think the vocal sounds over processed. I mostly don't like the keyboard sound and it doesn't sit well with the vocal. bass level is OK to me. Cymbals...

Thoughts on what to do with this track?

I might try working with the stereo spread. The mix is pretty narrow. It might open up if things were panned out a little more toward the edges. I don't have any specific suggestions, just generally work with panning.

Original Punk Tune - Cruisin’ for a Bruisin’!

The intro is cool. Vocal delivery is really nice. I like the harmonies. I'd nudge up the lead level just a bit. And I guess I'd also nudge up the harmony vocals too. Main rhythm guitars have, for me, just a bit too much gain/distortion dialed in. Bass sounds good. Nice level on it. Drums...

    Falling -

Wow some different sounds for you. I thought the guitar on the left was cool sounding. The keys on the right sounded good too and were a nice balance. Vocal tone is nice. No paper towel tube sound. The bass, to me, is the only issue. It's a nice part, the low end is a little too strong.

    The Fall Of Hyperion

Yes that was pretty ambitious. Hat's off to the writing department. Very nice. Performances were awesome. I wasn't a big fan of the vocal effects. The stereo stuff bouncing back and forth made them hard to pick out. The delays did too. I liked the synth/phaser stuff that bounced back and...

    Dusty Souvenirs

Pretty song. I really liked it. It was performed excellently. The guitar has a really nice high end. There's a little cloudiness in the low-midrange. I think a mild cut centered somewhere near 400-500hz might clear that up. There are also some low-low end that could be rolled off. It'd be...

Tweed Deluxe I Built Sound Test

I thought it sounded cool. But I think I heard some rattling on some of the louder chords. Either that or something was clipping. There was some sort of distortion besides what the guitar/speaker were making.

    Black Bird -major overhaul-

Things generally sound pretty good. It's a really unique version and I like it. Vocal sounds nice. I'm wondering if there is a way you can smooth out the delivery - at least in the verses. In the verses, it's bit too "stilted". I don't know if that's the right word to describe it or not...

    Frank Lloyd Wright’s Revenge.

I thought things sounded pretty good overall. Some small things I noticed: The guitar on the left sounds terrific. But it's louder than the slide guitar on the right, and it kind of unbalances the mix. It covers up the vocal here and there. Drums sound good. The hats (and other cymbals)...

    Changed Overnight

I like the energy. The guitars, both electric and acoustic, sound real good. Bass sounds good too - and the low end is at a real good level. Drums and cymbals sound real tight. Very nice. There is a clash between the guitars and the vocal. They're fighting for space. And when the electric...

    Don't wanna go

Not a lo-fi style to me. It sounds really slick. Much like your other tunes - seemingly a focus on the overall sound. Repeating lyrical themes.

    New Song (Songwriting Feedback?)

I think it was a good song. I like the overall lo-fi(ish) vibe. Lot's of reverb. maybe a bit too much on the vocal. Many of the pitch issues are kind of charming. But there are some of them that definitely should be addressed. EDIT: I thought the bass was a bit too far back in the mix...

    Shame

Guitars sound slick. Levels of everything sound real good. No hyped up high end - so your ears didn't betray you too much. :). The high end on the cymbals/overheads might be a bit overdone. But not by much. The delay on the vocal is a bit distracting. Maybe back off the wet/dry mix. Or...

    Remix, Remy's Song

I like the dirt on the vocal. Good tone on the lead guitar and pedal steel. Good sounding bass. Bass could maybe be compressed (harder). The level is bouncing around. The vocal is sitting way on top of everything. Its level is all over the place. Kick/snare/toms sound really good...

    Waisted threads

Some good guitar playing. I liked the lead guitar tone. Rhythm guitars sounded good too. The rhythm part was a little busy in places and that clashed with the lead guitar. Just in certain spots. Maybe just pull them down a couple of dbs. Bass sounded pretty good. Maybe a little too...

    Silver Threads (Demo)

I thought this was really good. Excellent vocal performance. Excellent performances all around.
