Yes. One player goes into one input of the scarlett, the other player goes into another input, and you just go into Reaper, create two tracks, and arm each to record and change the input on each to match the channels that the players are plugged in to.

In Reaper, just click on the top of the recorded track and drag up to increase level. Or you can use the mini volume control option on each recorded ytack

I am running Reaper 6 32bit on a W11! nachine, as well as Reaper 7 64 bit. I use one or other versions depending on what I am doing. W11 has a problem with saome of the plugins.

I've done mixing for others on occasion, and I notice bad microphone techniques, EQing and other sound manipulation issues. What interface they use is invisible.

Midi to USB should be fine. Reaper will recognise the midi device. You can then record the midi, doing any editing, and play back into your synths, again via midi.

Have you always had that problem? Or has it just started? It is often (but not always) a power supply problem. I experienced it with my desktop, but it disappeared once I used balanced connections for everything.

Have you checked the cable you are using to go from synth to interface. What happens if you swap it around, i.e. right into left and vice versa?
