Thanks for the knowledge, however I was wondering if that's necessary even when both interfaces are programmed for a particular sample rate. I have an M Audio Delta 1010 and M Audio Fast Track Ultra R8. I was hoping to use both in a multitrack recording session of a full band. Won't get the opportunity to attempt such a large scale session until the actual appointment with the band and have to decide whether or not to buy a separate wordclock before then.
