I read your posts about your Akai MG1212 adventure. I’m currently in the very same state of the display- counter- and transport-PCB Issues you were in back in the day.
After working on the PCB with powered-on unit the fuse blew out.
I wonder how it did work out for you there.
So far, Im really exited about your response, meanwhile have a nice weekend

I repair a akai mg 1214 in the same state. I have seen, you have a Technical manual to this.
Is possible to push me the Link or manual ?
