Looking for some help. I am an over zealous Dad who is trying to help my two boys with some gear. They have a PA system that is very nice, but they needed a back up mixer in the event that it crapped out. I bought them an Alesis Studio 24 and they are extremely upset with me. They hooked it up last night and it only had about half the power (volume) they their current board has. They have powered JBL speakers, no monitors, and an equalizer. They are in a 3 piece and only use two mics; the PA is used exclusively for vocals that this point. Is there a way to increase the volume with this board for live use? They will not use it for recording at this point. I noticed that you have used on during live applications; what is the trick?

Not yet, man. We actually had to go back and re-track a few things and that's what we're doing now.

If you still need the harmonica track let me know, Ill record about 6 different takes and send them to you.
