I took a break and upgraded my studio and I also got a drum set. I'm in the process of teaching myself to play the last instrument so I can do everything myself. Thought this cover would be a good start to get familiar with the new gear. I got a ways to go on drums, but for a song like this it's easy. Not using samples anymore is so nice. I'd appreciate any issues mix or otherwise you might hear.

JUST A HAIR HOT - as everything is clear but suffering from the pressed glass sonic syndrome. Great tune. Well played, tracked, and mixed. Spot on in the sentiment. We can be so stupid in the country. One guy killed hemp research in the same way this asswipe stifled healthcare for all. It is a right. We don't deny anyone healthcare - so we treat it as a right to life issue. The problem is the money it costs makes people wish they'd died. It's not like anyone can shop a doc after a heart attack from the back of the ambulance. God this system is fucked up. That guy deserves to lose his investment with all the misery caused.

Anyways - back off the limiting to where it sounds more natural - and you're good to go.
 
Ok backed off the maximizer a bit and reduced some of the fatiguing frequencies.. It's still decently loud but it's not slammed. Sounds kinda analog to me.

I thought this was really good. Everything sounded very nice. Good performances. No nits from me.

I love when the snare comes in on the refrain and miss it during the verses.
