HumanPlanet

**Gen-Xer**
Inspired by the Gospel of John, chapter 3, verse 16.

I said I wouldn't post anything else that had AI generated, non human vocals but there's now a choir mode to play with which worked well for this project so here it is. 5 tracks of vocals plus a 'mumble' track make up the bulk of it plus some simple midi orchestration and that's all there is.

Happy Easter to all!

The entire things sounds completely artificial - is it?

That is AI vocals?

Completely, not a single word sung by a human voice.

Vocals made in Ace Studio (similar to Synthesizer V). There are no 'real' instruments recorded on the song, all midi. The inspiration for the lyrics is as stated and as the definition of artificial is 'made, produced, or done by humans especially to seem like something natural' then one could say the whole thing is comletely artificial!

It's good for being fake. It's "overly clean" - a bit sterile sounding.

What is a "mumble track?"

Most people want the duck soup rather than 'the soup of the soup of the soup of the duck'. Not just tastier, not just more nutritious, but more real!

For sure! No argument from me on that.

Ok, there's another of those "buzz words" that get thrown around. Sterile!

Can you explain what you mean by "sterile sounding"? As in every voice is perfectly on cue and on key? I've heard choirs with excellent singers, and a good conductor that sounded very much like that. It obviously wasn't artificial or pitch corrected because it was all live at a local church. It was well rehearsed and impeccably performed.

I'll try...

It's something that's overly clean. Recorded in a place with no reflections - and any added reverb is unnaturally bright. Pitch is tuned perfectly on every note. I don't know if sterile is the best word for that. I'm open to alternatives.
