I tend to like things that you don't see every day. I'm not that into modern guitars or things that I see all the time. I've been buying guitars since about 1988, when I was delivering newspapers, and have bought/sold/traded for a long time.
I like unique sounds, so I try to use different things than most people and like to keep things interesting.
I had posted a few a while back, here are some more.
1980 BC Rich Eagle - very beautiful and completely hand made. Nothing like the modern things they do.
1957 GreTsch 6120, 1960 Fender Vibrasonic, 1963 Fender Reverb Unit.
Again, not at all like the modern ones. The Vibrasonic is a cool box nobody seems into. It's the first front control and tolex covered Fender and is kind of a mashup of parts. When new it was the most expensive amplifier Fender made. I believe it still is when adjusted for inflation.
Acoustic guitars are something that can't be duplicated with electronics. 1960 Gibson Sunburst, 1954 Fender Stratocaster, 1960 Martin 00-21, 1968 Gibson Hummingbird.
Dumble Overdrive Special amplifier with an old Marshall cabinet with the 25-watt Greenbacks.
1949 Fender Deluxe with 1965 Gibson ES-355 - factory mono, factory Bigsby, factory no varitone!
1968 Gibson ES-330 and 1963 Rickenbacker 425
1965 Gibson bass with Ampeg Portaflex. A couple years ago I decided to buy this amplifier and some basses to have around if people come to play bass.
1968 Les Paul Custom with 1968 Vibrolux
A couple big acoustics. A Martin D-41 and Gibson Everly Brothers
1959 or 1960 Telecaster lots of changed parts but it sounds good,
