Mrs. Robinson (Simon and Garfunkel cover)

I like your expressive feel and arrangement. Performance-wise, a bit more rehearsal will no doubt make it gel just right.

    Yet Another Mandolin Duet (YAMD)

Really nice performance and sound. I like it on mandolin - it has some of the qualities of a lute and some of the harpsichord.

Original Tune: The things I never won (Pop Punk/Alternative Rock)

I like the EQ balance. The backwards sound effect at the start is very effective.

Original Tune: The things I never won (Pop Punk/Alternative Rock)

Really good performance and arrangement. +1 on the M160. I'm listening on KRK V6's, treated room. It sounded a little better balanced to my ear with a slight wide boost at 350Hz and a slight wide cut at 3.5K Hz.

    PHAT and crisp folk rock

I like it. Nice song, performance and mix. In the first half the acoustic guitar hits me as just a little boomy (around 100 Hz).

Skynyrd tune done in a different style

I agree. I love the guitar tone.

I Will Not Listen To Your Song, But Listen To Mine

I enjoyed it very much. The vocal is unique, personal and skilled. The guitars sound fantastic. The guitar solo, though great in its ideas, has some notes that are a little pitchy. (Who cares? It just makes it sound live.) Drums sound good, not like software. Only suggestion I have is to...

Island Hopping with easlern and ibleedburgundy

Good feel to it. It sounds rich and real, expressively. Nothing I hear detracts in the mix. The guitars sound sweet-and-clear good. Nice drum work, IBB.

    Merry-ish Christmas from the Greg_L family - 2015 edition

Nice recording. The backing is tight and witty in its arrangement. The singers sound like they're having fun... which is what this song was designed for. I stumbled on this just before the confrontational posts were deleted and I just want to give a thumbs up to their deletion.

    It's been a while

Nice work Track Rat. The guitar tone is especially beautiful. The guitar part reminded me of Sitting on the Dock of the Bay, so I listened to the original... classic playing there of course, but for me its guitar tone wasn't as good as this. Interesting, miking the guitar amp with a KM184...

New tune - "The New World"

Excellent. Vocal could come up. Then again, I like the guitars and the guitars are the main thing competing with the vocal. So I'm conflicted, heh. Objectively though, bring up the vocal. The drummer's performance is great on this. Please don't tell me the drums are software.

    New track - "Daydream"

Thoughts as I listen... I like the acoustic and elec guitar sounds, the electric guitar passage :36-44, especially the arpeggio at :41 (and later), the harmonic progressions, the vocal sound. The lyric at 1:55, “to stay here with me” for me is the pivotal moment in the song. And the song is...

New song - "People in the Seventies"

I like it. It's well balanced sonically, and has some beautiful moments, expressively. The intro could be shorter.

New ballad - "When You're Here"

There's something uniquely expressive about your voice... it's gentle and strong at the same time. I like the song's writing and arrangement. The guitar solo was beautifully played, though had the acoustic guitar been continued there it would have been good. In the first phrase "Now that...

    Merry Christmas!

That sounds really good, WS. Vibe and intelligence in it. The improv is creative. The mix balance is just right. I liked the avant-garde touch with the metric change of that 5/4 measure at 1:53, haha. :)
