YEP... behringer C1 - over head, C3 - Room, SM57 - snare top, BG4.1 bottom, and the rest of the drums are roland.

Roland kit but with Acoustic cymbals and snare - riggering sounds my synths as well. (live/studio - same deal)

your massage doesn't realy say exaclty what's not worknig for you, but you'll need an INS (instrument definition file) for Sonar to map to your synth... you'll fine one here - www.miditutor.com/index.php?page=downloads&category_id=10

you can alway use your ears - play the stereo track in mono and if it's out, there'll be next to nothing to ear. Oh, Things like Sonar make life easy - each track have a reverse phase button....alot of desks do to.

I do.. if in the studio or using a backing track live....which it 99% of the time.

like all have say - shell just depends on the type o sound... Whats more important (from the recording isde of things) is to tune them right other wise it doesnt matter what thier make of or how made them.;)

I've about 10U of stuff, 2 Mic's and other bits from the Big B, and in (thinking about it...:confused: ) ... 23 years of recording and playing I've have two problems - one with some Roland kit, and the other with Tascam...but got fixed in the end. So, maybe I'm very very lucky? and maybe...

I don't see you having any problem the 10c - but make sure you use the ASIO drivers. As for Sonar 8 runnig on a "basic pc"..?? well I've had it runnig on an AMD XP2000 but with only very few plugins...;)

Given the date of this post I may be a little late ...but for anyone esle. I had the same problem on XP, with the same kinda spec's. And the cure - let it "warm up"...for about 15- 20 min's to be sure. After that it's all good....but wierd :confused: p.s I've read MAC's don't have this issue...
