I was going to order a set of Adam A7's until I saw the recently released A5s. Same ribbon tweeter, smaller woofer. I record in my jazz group in my home...used to use the Mackie 824s. Sold them. Just wondering if anyone has any A5 impressions. Thanks!

I have my monitors on either side of my computer desk. They are almost 6 feet apart. When I mix, I am back 6 feet from them, (perfect triangle). I think it is acceptable. The way my desk is, 6 feet apart is the minimum. What are your opinions? Thanks

I've built some acoustical panels...how should I hang them? Eyehooks + wire like a picture? (Hard to get them even across the wall) Or a hook style in the top center with nail/bolt in the wall? Thanks! BC

I have some Mackie 824's on MOpads and home made monitor stands filled with sand.... My computer desk/workstation is five feet wide. Is that too much separation between monitors? When all set up, the inner edges of the monitors are 5 feet, one inch apart. Thanks. BC

I use the AW16G to record my band's demos. What I initially do is this: Record 4 tracks for the drums (2 overheads, snare, bass drum) while I also record 1 track keys and 1 track bass guitar scratch. Then I overdub..... So, what I would like to get is a mixer that I can plug the initial 4 drum...
