ive never had a chance to mess with one, but i am strongly considering seeking one of these out, or simply building one myself with one of several extra speakers i have. very often i will only close mic, especially with dirty stuff, so taking the room out of equation isnt a huge deal, or at...
lol, dig this sucker.
audio pro 16-S, made by traynor who knows how long ago.
needed a mixer to leave at the rehearsal space to (a) free up another mixer, and (b) clear my conscience from loss by fire/theft/dumbasses, etc.
i scavenged these pics from ebay, but mine looks just like it. well...
yes really!
also the title of the song--- a bobby womack cover.
ive been working in a variety/cover band lately, and i guess it is rubbing off. threw this together in a couple of afternoons. bobby has a unique voice, and perhaps i do not, lol. i felt like i got the vocals kinda hot. and yes...
hiya. no, not an advice column... i havent been around much lately--- probably because i havent been recording lately. other obligations, yadda yah.
had an afternoon to myself yesterday, and threw this together as an excuse to do something. a loose cover of woman to woman, by joe cocker. the...
havent seen this here or anywhere--- pardon me if i am a little uninformed....

makes me want to create and build my own boutique rack panels...
in my 266xl compressor. i had both channels chained together in series--- now 1st channel doesnt seem to... um... compress, but does distort with higher signal levels. doesnt matter how the controls are set. also, it cleanly passes signal below a certain volume threshold. channel 2 seems...
ha, what a joke. ive said it a few times over the years, but keep crawling back to their bargain prices.
called about this:
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Crate-BT410E-Bass-Cab?sku=601144
it is OBVIOUS to even an idiot that the prodyuct description is incorrect. a 4x10 cab with 25watt...
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Behringer-Bass-VAMP-PRO-Rack-Modeling-Preamp-?sku=480693V
i generally *DONT* like modelers, but i have never tried one on bass. and really, i am not incredibly impressed with a lot of behri stuff, though i think that their products perhaps get a lot more...
sans amp rbi would be great, and that is the absolute top of the budget. have to pull together a cheap bass rig ASAP. (already have power amp and cabs).
pm me if you have anything.

heya. trying to get into reaper--- going to use it for backing tracks for a weekly i just got. they want covers, naturally. the idea is self-explanatory: going to take the laptop and mute guitar (me) and keyboard (the other guy) parts and play those parts and the lead vocals live. most probably...
hey folks. just bought another 6 pack of 96x48x2" OC 703 and some whitewood to frame it with. the last absorbers i made were like many youve seen on the 'net--- 2" 'glass framed in 1x4 so as to set it off of the wall. they looked ok and worked great.
but what if i frame them in 1x6 or even 1x8...
lol, just like the good ol' days.
just picked up an aphex aural exciter "type b", from the 80's AFAIK, for $20.
dig that brushed panel and the big fat knobs, heh. not sure if i will actually use the thing or not, but i remember getting some good bass tracks out of a similar unit back in the...
a friend asked me to help them record a demo of covers this past weekend. they basically didnt know how to use the equipment, thus the request. tracking was severely limited by:
-only being able to record 8 at once (was recorded live save for the vocal overdub). used a 16 channel mackie board...
hiya. this is something i have been considering for a while, but the "real monitor" thread makes me want to go through with it.
my monitors are a modest pair of older JBL 's. however, as a closet audio-phool and 2 channel enthusiast, i have amassed a small collection of decent to really nice...
