Thanx but your probably right I have brought a presonus compressor and a presonus pre amp also so those are things that i have. but i think the problem is my mic I think i am going to go out and purchase another mic

I use adobe audition but the only thing is my vocals doesn't sound smooth and I have heard alot of songs with a smooth sound and then it seems when i play it on my speakers my vocals have more bass then my beat. Can someone help me out? :(
