Selling a POD X3 Live
$400
I'm on the good guys list/;)
This unit has very LOW time on it. I haven't even used the volume pedal on it.
No scratches or scuffs. Mint condition. I've got 3 modelers and hardly use them so I'm thinning the herd.
It all gets subjective for sure.
I think it depends too on which models. I've got a Yamaha FG730 and it doesn't hold a candle to my all Koa Taylor in any way. Interesting enough the bass on the Yamaha holds up pretty well to my Taylor 614CE but comes nowhere near it in the mids and highs, but...
I've used a 1010 for years and have been using a n12 for over a year now and can tell you there's quite a difference.
I've had the luxury to hear them side by side and the biggest thing for me is the D/A conversion. The n12 D/A clearly blows the 1010 out of the water. Material I had recorded...
This thread came back to life? :D
Been a delay in her getting a new keyboard but will be looking at them soon.
What sucks in my area is not all of them are available to play/:mad:

Keep in mind the n12 does not have motorized faders and things like scene recall that other digital mixers have. It looks and feels like an analog mixer but is digital under the hood so to speak. There is nothing I dislike about it and the unit sounds so good. I hardly use any plugins now...
Oh yeah, I noticed this years ago at my local GC and I had more than one of them fucking pin heads that work there telling that's how they came from the factory/:rolleyes:
I actually bought a Strat from GC back in 99 and the tech worked on it some but it wasn't too bad to begin with. My local...
I'm a MIDI n00b but use Cubase and all I can say is Cubase effin rocks for MIDI. It was painless to get it all going and it does scoring too.
Reaper will evolve though and you sure can't knock the price.
Sounds like your ready to do some mixing. This is a broad subject.
Have you read any articles, books etc on mixing? If not that's a good place to start. There are tons of resources out there.
For getting distortion on guitar why not get the sound you want from your amp and stomp boxes etc...
