Hi! I have around 800 Dollars for Monitor speakers. Around that price range Ive tested:
- KRK RP6 G2
- KRK RP8 G2
- JBL LSR2325p
- KRK VXT4
- Yamaha NS10s
I think the LSRs sound too harsh and lack too much bottom, which would add to my budget as I would need to buy a sub. The Rokit 8s sounded...
Hmm... After an arduous 2 hour listening session on a few pairs of monitors I still have not reached a final verdict. I had the pleasure of having a pair of KRK Rokit 6s, 8s and VXT 4s as well as the JBL LSR2325p (Jesus! why do they make those names so impersonal and hard to remember!) And some...
I read this thread and for a budget Id say the R16 is the way to go. Thanks to this thread I am considering getting an R16 myself. This thread in gearslutz is a real eyeopener [ http://www.gearslutz.com/board/low-end-theory/366508-zoom-r16-any-experience-opinions.html ] Its worth the read.

Well it happens because there is an abrupt change in waveform volumes where you are cutting them and putting them together so cutting them at zero crossing points (Zooming in real hard and cutting were the wave is at zero, already suggested) and then putting them together would avoid the abrupt...
It can be mastered since mastering is done by working with the final wave file, but the question is what good would it do? If its not a good mix then it most likely wont do much of a difference. If the problem is with individual instrument tones and volume differences mastering wont work you...
Yes, I also think a 002 would be the way to go, the preamps on the 002 are either better or as good as the ones on the MBOX. You could also really expand your XLR/TRS inputs by buying an ADAT and plugging it in to the 002. In my university they have a 002 using two ADATs for a total of 16...
