Okay, so here is the problem. I have an ATR USB Microphone and an Imac from 2011. When I record with Audacity with a sample rate of 44100, it is this sound. Notice how it only happens when I speak. When I record with a sample rate of 48000, I get this sound. Notice the brief "pops" I get...

Never-mind, the microphone works 100% now! Just had to plug it into different USB socket. Again, thank you so much for your help. I had to give you something. I am not too great with GFX, but this is the best gift I can come up with :) Cheers!

Don't worry microphones is working great. It seems there were two problems. One was the crackle which is completely gone. This problem isn't really anything to worry about, and I can get around it. There are just sharp clicks every now and then. They are pretty random. Just wondering if there...

Here is the audio. As you can see there is a horrible buzz. Sometimes there are loud clicks too. Other times the buzz only happens when I speak. Thank you to all who help me :).
