An Indian Song, for a change

Thanks Luke, do you mean to use level automation on the vocals? or some sort of EQ automation?

An Indian Song, for a change

Hey cmorris975, thanks for your feedback. I will work on the bass part and add more bass to it. I definitely think I should change the VST to something less roomy. I'm sorry for the intro, even I had the same problem, but I didn't really fix it. I will fix it now.

An Indian Song, for a change

Thanks bro. I will definitely increase the levels of the vocals. The singer is Pastor Aji Puttoor, even I felt like that when I heard his voice the first time. As I said, I don't have much access to natural instruments, therefore I try to use VSTs wherever possible. So maybe that's why it sounds...

An Indian Song, for a change

Hey, thanks for your feedback. I have not used any reverb on the drums. I have boosted a little of the lows and the highs. I think I will have to use another VST, or maybe fiddle around with the settings in EZdrummer. I will add another reverb channel and send everything through it. Thanks again

An Indian Song, for a change

This song is in malayalam, which is from Kerala, India. I did this song using Cubase 5, using VSTs like HalionOne and EZdrummer. The vocals were recorded using Neumann U87. What do you think I should improve in this song? Any improvements/suggestions? Constructive criticism greatly appreciated.

SM - 57 without an interface

I wanna know whether we can record an SM-57 directly to a laptops inbuilt sound card without using an external audio interface. Is that even possible?
