Yup the devil's mic- Samson CO1U USB condenser. I bought it as a n00b rapper not really looking into other options apart from what rapper X has. I'm recording it in an office, but what's a temporary solution for that? Some people suggested blankets around the mic? I just pile on the effects...

ok fair enough. I thought the blanket thign would absorb the sound but guess not. Anyone with Cool Edit, know how to operate delay. I really want that telephone voice delay that a lot of rappers have these days.

im in an office but i just put up some blankets. I guess i could get closer to the mic and turn the gain down, nice idea. But, no effect wise thing icould do for now? It just sounds dry , dont know what it is.
