Hey....am busy archiving many cassette tapes/DATS/Video 8/Digital Video material.
The SV 3700 I have gotten recently is working OK. I have cleaned the heads with old Sony /dat cleaning tape and also by using head cleaner and chamois swabs.
The bloody CLEAN Light won't stop blinking...but the machine is working. Anyone else
have this issue?? the other day, when I took out the assembly to reach the head, I go t a lot
of black residue from the pinch roller. Does this machine have a sensor some place??
