Hmm, interesting! Have never had an issue using an IK Multimedia product (apart from download process confusion on my end).
Just downloaded Berlin though. Going to toy around with it... when I find the time :)
Haven't tried that one yet. Currently have Miroslav Philarmonik 2 (IK Multimedia) and the free BBC Symphony Orchestra (Spitfire). Have been getting good results by combining the two... maybe I need a third one? ;) But I think I might just bite!
There's no denying that things are unusual, uncomfortable, etc. Whatever's going on down South of me makes sense for the US but as a Canadian resident I do have to cope with the adverse effects. So far, the American voter in me is satisfied but the Canuck is tired of our upstart liberal...
IK tech support is the best 🤟
Some DAWs -- REAPER for example -- have a "monitor" section where you can put analyzers and correction algos like ARC without them affecting the render output.
Definitely interested in hearing the difference!
@rob aylestone have you ever generated frequency response charts for your knock-off mic reviews? Not sure what goes into that kind of thing but might be useful to know whether the charts featured in the listings are accurate? Just a thought!
