Idk - I was exiting about one I heard where you have to follow a bunch of weird rules like - 14 lyrics only, and write an album in a month... I thought that sounded like good writing exercise.

I think is very easy to slip into having way too many cover bc theyre fun, easy, and get crowd results, but if you put in the work of developing your bands sound - you can make covers your own.

I agree... Its taken me a long while to shed my discriminations against a particular artist just b/c they are too popular or what have you - a good song is a good song.

And much appreciated. This is my first major project I started in 2008 on GBand - imported to logic 2 years later, took a studio rec classes, got kicked out of that before i finished (long story - kinda funny - super shitty though) and now I.m LOST!!! I re-recorded the whole band by myself...
