Ok... so I run the outputs from my CD player to my ART preamp... into the inputs 1 & 2 of my WAVE 8*24. I open a new session in Ntrack (or Cool Edit Pro, or Vegas, or Wavelab) and the VU meter shows the signal coming through... I hit "record" and record for a bit... then when I hit "stop"...

Welp, heres my first MP3 in almost a year. The first one mixed down on The Larsonist666. These tracks were recorded roughly a year ago. I had them mixed down lacking only 2 tracks, when I discovered that my computer couldnt pull the extra 2 tracks... Then I took 6 months or so to build this...

I have made many disks with this CDRW but lately I cant burn a disk without getting popping noises throughout the disk. kinda sounds like scratches on an album... and they arent on the original. Anyone have this problem?

Whenever I scroll or drag a portion of the screen my playback stops. What can be done to correct this? Does this happen to anyone else???

If you use "cut" to remove that section of the waveform you should then be able to click and drag the latter half of the waveform to meet the first half of the waveform.
