About to buy one of these bad boys, quick question though. Where can i find information on how much the tubes will cost to replace when they go bad? Thanks -
im not talking about using the preamp for the reason it is suppost to be used. The ART has some settings on it that i use AS effects, just because it's not labeled as a reverb, limiter or delay, i still can use it as an effect, the noise can be taken care of because i've seen this done before...
ah ok, yeah i figured that about the pre-amp, thats the main thing im wanting to use. There should be a way i could send some kinda signal out of the 2480, into the preamp and then back into the 2480 and then asign that chain to any given track or tracks wouldn't there?
hey bro, thanks for the reply. I have ran mics through the rack gear before, that's what i used to do. But now i have a snake that runs to the live room, to the control room, straight into the recorder, and i just think it would be easyer to have the rack effects set aside on the AUX so i can...

the drums in this song were recorded with the 603s as over heads.

hey man, thanks alot for the responce! Yeah i'm thinking about going back and either boosting up the vocals on the whisper part or add more to beef it up. And on the Ride, i've thought about pulling it down, what are you monitoring this track on? computer speakers? cause i've found that it does...

Absolutely my friend. One thing to remember when you are recording and trying to be creative at the same time is, There are no rules. I've done a lot of vocals that way. I've used a POD, many pedal boards and COSM amp modeling that Roland makes. So basically, if you can get it all hooked up...
Well for the past year or so I’ve recorded all my stuff in a 1960's trailer that we remodeled, and it has no audio treatment what so ever and I’ve (and everyone else that's recorded there) has been very happy with the sound. but I have recorded on our screened in front porch before, and had...
