Hmm, well I DO happen to have a Motu Fastlane 2x2 USB midi interface because my Motu 16a Thunderbolt interface oddly doesn't have midi ports. I wonder if that would work? I'd just have no freaking clue what to plug into what.
Thanks for the suggestion. I will post over there. As for AI and DIN, i don't know what any of that means. I know nothing about midi other than lug it in and hope it works. The extent of my midi experience is plugging in a Yamaha 90's keyboard that has a midi port, and using that for software...
Hi there,
Where mah Windows and Pro Tools guys at?!?! lol
HELP!...
I have had and used successfully 2 BCF2000 units for the last 6-7 years on my mid-2011 Apple imac. They worked great in getting me 16 channels of control faders (each unit was plugged into it's own USB port) in Pro Tools 9, 10...
Thanks so much (as always...*blushing*), so much appreciated. Maybe there could be some sort of way I could help YOU! Try and find me on FB...Jay McFarland from Windsor, ON.
No...no you don't! In this selfish world we live in, it is my belief that you are here solely to answer my questions accurately and promptly! :p
Will do! I will post my findings either way.
It doesn't matter how much time goes by from the last time I posted a PT question on here, it's always YOU, Steen! Thanks a million. I will try it out and see if that does the trick. I am hoping it's that easy, would be nice for a change! :o
Hi there,
I am on PT 11 (trying to switch over from PT10), on a 2011 imac w/ Mountain Lion and an Echo Audiofire12 firewire interface.
It works fine in PT10, but in PT11, I can't choose from my i/o menu to, say, use a piece of outboard gear as an insert like I would use a plugin. The i/o...
Yes, I have the same idea in my head, but I am wondering how I'd use it in real time as an fx insert (on the aux) so i don't need to print it to a new track. Maybe this kind of routing was done much easier on a large format console. Huh. Meh
Reviving an old thread here but another one second hand has come up for cheap locally. I just though of the same question in this original post which I had totally forgot even asking about (but found it upon a google search of how to patch an spx90 to my interface). I don't care if all I can...
Sigh.
The guy said "sonic fuckery" and you said "yes, this ^" and I was, ya know ...being a smart ass and giving a nod to the term you seemed to have coined on here.
