I really like the drum sound. Perfect 70s. Vocal is too disconnected. Needs subtle space. Also needs an LA2A/compressor on the strained/higher parts that disappear when you back off to sing them. Then the closer softer parts have too much proximity effect. I'm probably in the minority...

My advice is to try and replace some of the tracks in this song with real instruments and/or higher quality vsts. It's to fake sounding if that makes sense which detracts imo from a professional sound and taking it seriously as a piece of music. The emotion and core of the song is good! If...
