I know exactly what you mean. I remember the illegal (American) in UK CB radios and the havoc strong signals can cause. Perhaps I am better with a decent new lavalier mic and my Zoom.

Gecko do you know if the Rode lavalier mic is the same one they use with their 'Go' systems?

    Interesting articles

I built this pc I am on just over 2 years ago now. Its easy with the part pickers that sell the bits. All it is is a few nuts and screws. Not even a kids 'Mechano' kit. Now there's something from the past! About 13 years ago I learnt code and built websites and also learnt about seo...

    Radio Microphones

Does this mean you can get interference/bleed from other users Rob? I notice that lots of vloggers are using them who travel around and do all sorts of things. If someone talks to you soon, you really would have to be careful you aren't being recorded they are getting so common. Possibly...

    Recording decent vocals at home?

We were all clueless once and probably still are if the truth is known. As far as I know you need a mic, a mic stand, a mic lead, an interface, a usb lead and a pc.

Anybody have any experience of these Rode type remote/radio mics? Are they worth the cash or best stick with a lapel mic and a recorder in your pocket?

When I was researching this Jimmy, I came across companies who were specialising in sound treatment for lots of different situations and buildings especially. A lot of them used perforated materials to treat the sound instead of and with some kind of absorbing material.

Vocal booth ~ any use ?

There was a young man about 5 years ago on youtube who made similar out of the white plastic waste pipe and fittings. Much lighter than that steel one. But exactly the same principle. I think the acoustic blankets cost the money. Found it gt. Have a butchers.
